DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES AND STRAIGHT NEEDLES SIZE 5 mm - or size needed to get 22 sts x 24 rows in wave pattern = 10 x 10 cm.
GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.
GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle): * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.
PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Diagram shows all rows seen from RS. ----------------------------------------------------------
SCARF: Worked back and forth on needle. LOOSELY cast on 63 sts on needle size 5 mm with Big Delight. K 2 rows, then work diagram A.1 with 6 sts in garter st in each side. Continue with A.1 and in garter st until piece measures 150 cm, work 2 rows in garter st over all sts, cast off.
WRIST WARMERS: Worked in the round on double pointed needles size 5 mm. LOOSELY cast on 34 sts with Big Delight. Work 2 rounds in garter st, then work diagram A.1 two times on round. Continue with A.1 until piece measures 18 cm, work 2 rounds in garter st, cast off.
